B. Features
In Glagah Beach, the most interesting spot is the lagoon, which can be used for various water rides. There are few beaches in Indonesia that have this feature. Tourists can go around the lagoon by motorboat available for rent at the location. Aside from boating, tourists can also do some water sports such as swimming or canoeing. If wanting to canoe, tourists can contact the non-government agrotourism office in the near west of the lagoon. There they rent canoe, bamboo raft, and also duck-pedal boat.
Beside water rides, there is also a garden owned by the agrotourism office. The land is used to grow pitahaya fruit and roselle flower. In Yogyakarta, Glagah Beach becomes the only coastal area that cultivates pitahaya fruit.
