Information:
The word “Rebo Pungkasan” refers to the last Rebo (the last Wednesday) of the Javanese month of Sapar. Starting with communal prayer at the local mosque of Wonokromo, in the sub-district of Pleret, this rite constitutes the people’s expectation to God to reject any disease and any other calamities, and the attempt to conserve the lofty values of the ancestors.
